Me and my boyfriend got to spend the day with Sang Kim and had a BLAST! I am a complete beginner in fly fishing and fishing in general but my first euro nymph cast with Sang got me a fish! He taught us so many things in such an encouraging and supportive manner. He helped us both catch a ton of fish in rough waters and learn some awesome tips. Sang guided my brother and I on the middle Provo. We’d never fly fished at all. He customized the instruction to each of our needs. He ensured we both had an amazing day. Sang was the ultimate guide! He is a total expert in fly fishing, but euronymphing specifically. He ties all his own flies and provides all the gear/equipment you would need. I went in the summer months, so we just wet waded which was so nice. He taught simply and clearly. I had a great day with my best friend catching loads of big fish!! I spent the day on the Feather River with Sang where he helped me with my Euro Nymphing techniques. Not only is Sang an excellent guide that knows the river, he is a patient and excellent educator. He not only helped me improve my Euro techniques, but gave me insight on the fish in the system, what flies to use and where, when and why. Spent the day with Sang yesterday one on one… It was amazing… Sang ‘s knowledge of euro nymphing and the water we were fishing was incredible… He really gave me the confidence to pursue the euro technique on my own. I did a clinic with Sang a month prior to going out with him yesterday, the clinic was my first introduction to the euro technique.. Yesterday he was able to put me on the fish and caught a lot of big beautiful trout. I didn’t really know what to expect from Euronymphing, since I probably didn’t do as much research as I should’ve done prior to the trip. Needless to say, I now believe that I can catch more fish, Euronymping then with a traditional fly line on most of these small rivers in Utah. Amazing experience. Sang put us onto the fish and we had great success… especially for the first day. My wife and I loved it - and in fact she went again the next week with Sang, this time with my son, it was that good of a trip. And plus he has diet Mountain Dew to boot.

Update. Now, 14 months later, we went again with Sang. Once again, he spent all day, taking care of us and putting us on the fish. Even though it’s a little bit more challenging in the fall, we each caught fish into the teens.  We absolutely love fishing with Sang!
